On Saturday, March 21, 2026, Nyarko will be performing her first own showcase at the Paardcafé. The Ghanaian artist from The Hague presents an energetic live show in which her musical development and cultural identity are central. Her sound combines afro influences with soulful beats, inspired by her Ghanaian roots and upbringing in The Hague.
During the showcase, Nyarko will perform new material and exclusive premieres live. An evening for lovers of afro, soulful hooks, and artists with a strong and personal story.
Nyarko, the stage name of Praises Nyarko Asante Nyamekye, broke through in 2020 with a viral Instagram freestyle. Shortly after, her debut single Bang! and the EP VIBES (2023) were released. With tracks such as “International Party” and “Gobe,” she reached international Spotify playlists. She has performed at festivals and stages such as Eurosonic Noorderslag, Lowlands, Zwarte Cross, Freshtival, and ADE Beats, was named FunX Artist of the Month, and is now also building her name internationally.
