Zijn muziek is het beste te omschrijven als een mix tussen blues en soul, verpakt als toegankelijke popmuziek. Na 6 jaar de podia in binnen en buitenland te hebben bestormd met Stud Muffins staat hij sinds 2010 op eigen benen, wat najaar 2011 heeft geresulteerd in een succesvol debuut album.
Frank Foks
Frank Foks (born on the 8th of November 1986 in Rotterdam, the Netherlands) is a singer/songwriter that just wants to keep it simple. “Enjoying music and spreading the love with that gives me such an amazing feeling”.
It was just at the age of 20 that Frank bought himself a guitar and started playing. People were amazed by the fact that Frank was even able to bring some emotion by just picking some strings at that moment. It’s wasn’t that strange that Frank was on stage within a year and played some of his own tunes for a full venue.
After that first gig things went pretty fast. Frank dropped out of the Art Academy to give his full attention to his new love ‘music’. At that same time a journalist and a movie producer started to make a documentary about the exciting life of Frank. “I can’t believe that all of this happened so fast, it wasn’t even my dream to become a singer/songwriter when I bought that guitar, but now I never want to go back”.
Frank discovered YouTube and made it his number one place to get new fans. Loads of people found out about Frank on the internet and without asking, people told their friends and families about him as well. In a short amount of time Frank had a big group of supporters from all around the world. And as a lot of people around Frank are saying good things about him, the youtubers also let Frank know how much they appreciate his music, his voice and his talent.
