Paardcafé: Endive

ENDIVE is the shared brainchild of Warner Mossel and Marcel Ju. For both of them, music has been a necessity since their early childhood: a way to breathe, process emotions, and escape reality for a moment.

Their songs arise intuitively and often begin at the piano, where Warner improvises based on sound and feeling, fueled by a deep love for chords and harmonies as used in impressionism. His ethereal, androgynous voice forms the emotional heart of the music. Marcel translates these ideas into rhythm, form, and space, weaving rich, compelling soundscapes in which acoustic and electronic elements merge.

In close collaboration with producer Oscar de Jong (Kraak & Smaak), Endive forges an atmospheric, melancholic sound that moves between dream pop, indie, and shoegaze. Intense and vulnerable at the same time, cinematic and open, while leaving room for the listener’s own imagination. Their debut album headprint will be released on April 2, 2026 (both digitally and on vinyl) and will be presented live that evening at Paardcafé, The Hague. The first single to unfold will be released on February 6, 2026.
