Jungle by Night is back. The Amsterdam-based band returns to the stage with a new live show, a refreshed lineup, and new material that proudly wears its influences from Talking Heads, Air, and Kraftwerk on its sleeve. Analog dance music, nu-disco, krautrock, and ’70s funk blend seamlessly together, pushing ever further into electronic territory.
Since their debut in 2010, they have built a reputation that stretches from Amsterdam to Japan. Their live shows are collective experiences, driven by synthesizers, brass, bass, guitar, and percussion, with a gradual build-up that draws you deeper and deeper into the groove until standing still is no longer an option.
The Hague has a new concert venue: from now on, PAARD will also be programming concerts at Inter-City, the new cultural park in The Hague. The concerts at Inter-City will have their own distinct character. PAARD and Inter-City are aiming for a raw and relevant sound. Punk, hip hop, experimental. Music that means something.
