The music scene was flabbergasted when, out of nowhere, Jacco Gardner hit the radar with his debut album. Who is this guy and where did he get his inspiration from? This sensational talented young musician from The Netherlands became an instant hit when Pitchfork, The Guardian and The New Musical Express (NME) lit their light on him. Jacco Gardner reached the Dutch audience through a Dutch popular actuality show De Wereld Draait Door, where he was praised for his interpretation of psychedelic sounds a la Pink Floyd and a young Brian Wilson.

While his American tour was already booked, The Netherlands was buzzing with excitement for Gardner. His hypnotising music can be described as multi instrumental baroque pop and a cheeky homage to the Sixties. He creates a unique sound by combining the sounds of harpsichord, strings, flutes and other classical instruments with raw psychedelic effects. Gardner is one of a kind and certainly one we never had before. Last year he played at Paradiso, travelled to Texas for the SXSW-festival and successfully toured through the States.

On top of all that, he has won the 3v00r12 Award 2013 for having created the ‘Best Dutch album of the year’.

Let Gardner take you on a magical tour through modern psychedelics when he turns Paard van Troje into his musical temple.
