IDENTIKIT is a modern quintet consisting of a guitar, two saxes (alt and tenor), and a rhythm section (electrical bass and drums), aimed on telling the stories of songs. With the guitar as only instrument of harmony, the sound of this quintet is raw, adventurous and modern. Their music is a combination of modern Jazz and Indie Rock in the styles of Kneebody, Polar Bear and Jagga Jazzist.
Their album ‘Garage Moi’, released in October 2013, received great reviews, of which a 5-star review in ‘Het Parool’. “This is no jazz, this is universal art.”, as well as 4-star reviews in ‘De Volkskrant’ and ‘Trouw’.
