As a new addition, Luka starts off with a sparkling new start, starting with a tour through the US: they have been hugely popular abroad for years and their music was played in series like Sex & The City. Not to mention the prizes they won: The ambient / triphop / pop act won a ZAMU Award several times, their album The President of the LSD Golf Club was awarded the Cutting Edge Award 2008 and Hooverphonic was also awarded as best group in 2011 at the Music Industry Awards 2011.
At this moment the band consists of bassist and programmer Alex Callier, guitarist Raymond Geerts and singer Luka Cruysberghs. The singer got to know Alex Callier through her participation in The Voice, but according to Luka it was not a gift that she became a singer of Hooverphonic: “Everything but.
