Support: Di Lebnshtrom ShvesterThis Gypsy brass band from Romania is going to turn the venue upside down. With its irresistible rhythms and dizzying speed, it is bound to be a memorable balkanfest.  In the past, Fanfare Ciocarlia toured all over the world, was asked to appear on soundtracks and even did an appearance on the birthday of Danny Elfman, which turned out to be legendary.

In the evenings, when the winds calm down, the sounds of the fanfare echo from the surrounding slopes. This is the home of the twelve Gypsy musicians.  The art of playing music has been handed down from generation to generation since time immemorial. There is no sheet music. The instruments, bearing the marks of the previous decades, have lost their shine and gained their own patina. On them, Fanfare Ciocarlia manages to set off a musical firework display.

Fanfare Ciocarlia is known for its cover of “Born to be wild” for the movie “Borat” . The gentlemen toured for about four years with “The Gipsy kings and queens” and they released a new album named “Balkan Brass Battle”. A perfect party for lovers of balkanmusic.
