ELLEN FOLEY

Due to Coronavirus measures, this show will be moved to a new date. Tickets already purchased remain valid and ticket buyers should have received an email. More information about your tickets, credits and transfers can be found here.

Since “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” (1977), nobody can ignore Ellen Foley. Immediately after the release of Meat Loaf’s world hit, tumult and commotion ensued: was the lady in the clip the real singer? No, it turned out. The voice was Ellen Foley’s. Just like the rest of the songs on “Bat Out of Hell”. Her name was established in one swoop. More than 40 years later, blood crawls where it can’t go and the living rock legend is touring the world with her band again. And of course the hits are not missing!

Since ‘Paradise By The Dashboard Light‘ (1977) it’s impossible to ignore Ellen Foley. Immediately after the release of Meat Loaf’s world hit, there was turmoil and noise: was the lady in the music video the real singer? No: it was Ellen Foley’s voice. Just like on the rest of the songs on ‘Bat Out of Hell’. Her name was established. More than 40 years later the blood crawls where it can’t go and the living rock legend is touring the world again with her band. And of course she’ll bring her biggest hits!

After her Meat Loaf period, the American singer continued the success with her solo album Nightout. ‘We Belong To The Night’ and ‘What’s The Matter Baby’ both became super hits. Two albums followed, and after that she started working with and for others: from Joe Jackson to The Clash and from musicals on Broadway to film roles in Cocktail (with Tom Cruise) and Fatal Attraction.
