Since “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” (1977), nobody can ignore Ellen Foley. Immediately after the release of Meat Loaf’s world hit, tumult and commotion ensued: was the lady in the clip the real singer? No, it turned out. The voice was Ellen Foley’s. Just like the rest of the songs on “Bat Out of Hell”. Her name was established in one swoop. More than 40 years later, blood crawls where it can’t go and the living rock legend is touring the world with her band again. And of course the hits are not missing!

After her Meat Loaf period, the American singer continued the success with her solo album Nightout. ‘We Belong To The Night’ and ‘What’s The Matter Baby’ both became super hits. Two albums followed, and after that she started working with and for others: from Joe Jackson to The Clash and from musicals on Broadway to film roles in Cocktail (with Tom Cruise) and Fatal Attraction.
