DUNCAN LAURENCE

Sunday 3 November 2019 2019

The bookmakers of the Eurovision Songfestival were totally right putting all their faith into The Netherlands this year, because Duncan Laurence won! Arcade already became a hit before the Songfestival started, but Europe agreed that it was the winning song of the year. Duncan wants to reach as many people as possible with a special story. To him, Arcade feels like the core of his life. Ever since he started to feel passionate about music, he has searched for stories that touched people and meant something. The inspiration from Arcade came from losing a loved one at a young age. On November 3rd the rising star will perform in PAARD!

Support: Benedict Cork
British singer-songwriter Benedict Cork is the support-act of Duncan Laurence. Last year he released his first EP called ‘Piano Tapes‘, which immediately got a ton of good reviews. Even from Elton John: he called the single Ghost ‘sensational’ and Benedict ‘a name to look out for’. In August this year the musician released his second EP ‘Letters To Strangers‘, which is also filled with beautiful, emotional and raw songs.
