Burst is The Hague’s hi-end clubnight that showcases the best international electronic acts. After many succesful editions featuring the likes of Modeselektor, Ame, 2manyDJs, Dixon, Dekmantel, Apparat & DJ Hell this night will host a new episode inviting Will Saul, Bicep, Offshore & Coen.
Will Saul is the producer and DJ behind Simple Records and Aus Music. His sound is based in deep dubdiscohousetechno with flashes of soul and irresistible melodies that hark back to the early days of Detroit (from Motown to Planet E). Over the years Will has gained an admirable reputation as not only a show- stealing DJ, but also a talented A&R and producer. He’s remixed for Little Dragon, Scuba, Fink, Cortney Tidwell, Solomun, Pearson Sound, Appleblim, and The Juan Maclean (DFA) to name just a few. Will was resident at the legendary End club in London for many years before it closed it’s doors and mixed and compiled the 15th edition of the renowned Balance CD series.
Bicep are a duo that hail from Belfast, brought together through a common obsession with all things analog. Their blog, Feel My Bicep, has grown to be the first port of call for those searching for cutting-edge and hard-to-find disco (nu and old) / chicago-house / detroit techno / italo / edits and the like. Growing with an amalgamation of jazz, rock and funk helped Bicep form an obscure approach and understanding of music.
