It’s been a while since we’ve heard from Blood Red Shoes, but now the indierock duo is back with a new album that sounds different than their previous albums. A stormy period caused Laura and  Steven to reinvent themselves and you can hear that on their album ‘Get Tragic’ released this January. Expect a renewed sound with electronic notes.

For a minute it looked like Blood Red Shoes would split up forever. The two decides to follow separate paths (Laura bought a one-way ticket to L.A and Steven found a outlet in partying)  and now they are back with their new album ‘Get Tragic’. The name of the album refers to the tragic way the handled the break-up like period that felt like a cliché. The new album contains more electronic sounds than their previous albums partly because Laura started playing the keyboard.  “We wanted to have the soul of a rock band, but change the style so it was more interesting, more groovy, and more sexy – and less like everybody else!” the band says.

“ It's emotionaly intense, sonically turbulent, defiant and everything in-between “
