Berget Lewis found her voice at the age of 15 in the church choir, whom she toured with when she was only fifteen years old. After touring several years with her own group ‘Berget Lewis Gospel Train’, she entered ‘Total Touch’ and scored worldwide dance hits. As the icing on cake she performed as Maria in the tv-musical ‘The Passion’ and won the ‘Best singer of Holland’ contest with a 100% vote. No wonder international artists like Van Morrison, Dave Stewart and Maceo Parker invite her as a special guest to their performances.
Berget believes it’s about the music, passion and song with a meaning. For her latest album, she collaborated with producer Andreas Olsson and the musical collective The Suppliers. It resulted in a beautiful record: emotional ballads, steaming rock & pounding soul with an energy only Berget Lewis can bring across.
