B-MOVIE ORCHESTRA: the ultimate in thrilling, erotic and raunchy filmmusic!!Most people are familiar with the B-movies from the '60s and '70s. This 12-member Orchestra brings the B-Movie soundtracks from these films back to life . They are playing at various film festivals and the orchestra comes to Paard van Troje.The music can be described as a groovy, psychedelic sound, together with good big band arrangements and dark, mysterious rhythms. The charming Ooooh's and aaaaah's from The Cinematic Fever Girls can not be missed. To complete the cult film atmosphere the music will be supported by a B-movie show of the image sampler Marten Koster. Dive into  the treasury of the B-movie with Italian police films like La Polizia Ha Le Mani Legate, spaghetti westerns like The Good, the Bad & the Ugly, secret agents as Diabolik and Mission Impossible and the naive soft erotica of Black Emanuelle and sci -fi babe Barbarella.The band was founded in 2009 by Matti Baz, known as drummer fromJunkie XL and Ellen ten Damme. Baz brought a group of musicians and visual artists together. With this group he could bring his favorite B-movie music under the spotlight. At last he could play his favorite music from record labels such as Plastic, Bernie's Grooves and Crippled Dick Hot Wax! The result is their just-released debut album The Ultimate In Thrilling, Erotic And Raunchy Film Music! Volume 1.
