CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS

Want to make your dream event a reality? You can with CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS! After many successful club nights born from this competition, it’s back for another round. Time to bring your own Boiler Room, Listening Bar, or Silent Disco to life at PAARD. PAARD gives you the keys, the budget, and together we’ll make it unforgettable!

Are you the one who always organizes everything in your friend group? And does your phone never stop buzzing? Then we’re looking for you!

Let your creativity run wild and organize your very own club night!

The winning concept:

  • brings something unique to The Hague nightlife
  • is ambitious, yet realistic
  • appeals to a large audience in The Hague

How does it work?

  • A budget of €1,250 is available
  • The club night will take place in the Kleine Zaal, with a capacity of 325 people
  • Together with you, we’ll organize a night in December from 11:30 PM to 4:00 AM
  • The three best concepts will be invited to pitch their ideas
  • The winner gets the club night of their dreams

Requirements:

  • Participants must be 18+
  • You must be registered with the Chamber of Commerce (KVK), or be willing to register and able to send invoices

What do you need to do?
Send us your proposal. It can be on paper, but a video is welcome too! Be creative and make it visual! Tell us what the party will look like and who your target audience is. How are you going to reach them? Don’t forget to include a budget breakdown: how will you divide the money between artists, promotion, and decoration? And most importantly of all: your motivation!

We’re looking for creative ideas that add something new to nightlife in The Hague, something that’s still missing. To give you an idea, here are three concepts that previously participated in CLUB PAARD CONCEPTS: MULATU Listening Bar, MOLOTOV, and MAMA AFRICA.

MULATU is a listening bar concept born from the competition. It’s an event where the same evening offers space for both deep focus and liberating dancing — wherever the music takes you! Inspired by authentic Japanese listening bars and modern European venues like Brilliant Corners. After several successful editions and collaborations with other events, it has become a recurring concept at Prinsegracht.

MOLOTOV started as an initiative within the Dutch Bass Community in collaboration with PAARD, after realizing there were no Russian Hardbass parties being organized in the Netherlands. The goal was to become pioneers and inspire others to organize more Russian Hardbass events. After the first night in the Kleine Zaal came a second edition, followed by three sold-out editions in the Grote Zaal. A true success story of an innovative concept!

The successful MAMA AFRICA also once started through PAARD CONCEPTS. Yes, small beginnings can grow big. The organizers sold out their very first Kleine Zaal edition in no time. Six years later, Mama Africa has become a staple of nightlife in the Netherlands. With editions every weekend across the Netherlands, Belgium, and Germany, the event has become one of the best ways to celebrate African music. The concept also continues to grow at festivals, with stage hostings at events like Mysteryland, Lowlands, and Rotterdam Zomercarnaval.
