Wanted: Bartender Paardcafé

Paardcafé is the lively and welcoming bar located next to pop venue PAARD in The Hague. Every night, we welcome music lovers, artists, regulars, and night owls who together bring the city’s music scene to life. Our Paardcafé team is looking for a friendly, outgoing, and music-loving bartender who feels right at home among records, pints, and good conversations at the bar.

About you:
You have great social and communication skills and know how to make guests feel instantly welcome. You’re customer-oriented, stress-resistant, and a true team player. You think in solutions rather than problems and always keep an active attitude. Night and weekend shifts are no issue for you, and with your presentable appearance, you perfectly match the atmosphere of the Paardcafé. We’re looking for someone with at least 2 years of experience in a similar position and a clear affinity with The Hague’s pop and nightlife scene.

Your tasks:

• Serving drinks and handling register transactions

• Collecting and washing glasses

• Keeping the workspace tidy and clean

• Restocking fridges and maintaining inventory

• Following the assistant manager’s instructions at all times

• Ensuring the bar and venue are ready for the next day after closing

What Paardcafé offers:

• Immediate start with a 0-hour contract, with the possibility of fixed hours (CAO Dutch Pop Venues and Festivals)

• 10 to 20 hours per week minimum
