Zuco 103 is the kind of band you don’t just hear, but feel. Their music flows, swings, and breathes like a warm breeze from Rio that suddenly picks up an electronic groove in Amsterdam. The Brazilian singer Lilian Vieira sings with an irresistible mix of power and grace, while Stefan Kruger and Stefan Schmid lay down rhythms and sounds that are both organic and modern: samba and bossa nova flirting with funk, jazz, and electronic music.What Zuco 103 does is translate pure infectious energy into music that is both light-footed and layered.
