Selah Sue is coming to PAARD together with the duo The Gallands on September 18!
A thrilling double comeback for Belgian soul-pop queen Selah Sue, who, following her debut live album, unveils her collaboration with the fantastic father-son duo The Gallands. The father-son duo consists of jazz drummer Stéphane Galland and his son Elvin, himself a keyboardist, producer, musical director, and composer. The trio creates a blend of organic grooves, contemporary jazz, and innovative production. Here, soulful intensity and vibrant live energy converge.
The initial plan for an EP quickly evolved into a full album, with the intention of having all three back on stage as soon as possible to extend this unique experience. This live atmosphere is palpable until the very last note, carried by a wide array of organic instruments, including Federico Pecoraro’s bass, guitars, string arrangements, a Rhodes electric keyboard, and Stéphane Galland’s famously subtle drumming, which established his reputation. The three identities are strongly felt, united by Selah Sue’s voice.
