His loyal companion over the years is Aad van Pijlen, who plays bass guitar, sings backup vocals, and collaborated with Philip on the music for this album. Also joining are Andreas Tsikotis (drums), Roel Spanjers (Hammond organ, piano, and accordion), and Lucas Meijers (electric guitar). Dancing is encouraged.

Philip Kroonenberg has chronicled his life in every song he’s made; it’s nothing more and nothing less than a sung diary. On October 3, the new album Say When will be released. On December 8, the album will be presented to the Hague audience at Het Paard. In addition to the new album, two sets will feature other favorite songs from Philip’s repertoire.
