Paardcafé: The Humbled & Haylid

The Humbled is a melodic pop rock band from Dordrecht with an alternative twist. Sometimes with an uplifting beat and danceable riffs, always with a personal story. Inspired by artists such as Coldplay, The National, The Editors, Tori Amos, and Keane, they bring a surprising sound that is easy on the ear. At the end of 2023, The Humbled released their debut EP with five energetic and catchy songs. These songs were recorded live as a band in the studio and capture the raw essence of their performance. They filmed the entire process, giving you an intimate and personal look at the band in action. Experience and see for yourself what they bring to the stage.

Haylid is a modern rock band from The Hague, founded in 2020. Their sound combines the energy of contemporary pop/rock with the power of 80s rock, inspired by acts such as Beth Hart and AC/DC. In 2024, they released their debut single “Keep You Near,” followed by “SoulMisconception.” In June 2025, their debut EP MASQUERADE was released, presented with a release show at PAARD The Hague. The theme, “take off the mask and be yourself,” sums up exactly what HAYLID stands for: authenticity and pure energy.
