Plackband is a symphonic rock band. The name is familiar to many enthusiasts, as they were one of the first symphonic rock bands in the Netherlands in the 1970s. They stopped performing in 1985, only to return in 2000 with various lead singers. With two albums, The Lost Tapes and After the Battle, a live recording on DVD Visions, and several legendary performances in Belgium, England, Italy, and the Netherlands, the band came to a definitive end in 2008. At least, that’s what everyone thought. Now, in 2024, the band is returning once more with its original lineup: The Last Tapes!
