LÖNA’s melancholic sound is the perfect Dark & Stormy cocktail. The twins mix icy synth sounds with echoing guitars and encouraging four-to-the-floor beats. Together with lyrics about the death of their father, activism and (LGBTI) love, the LÖNA formula is complete and they create melancholy on the dance floor.

LÖNA consists of identical twin sisters who find each other in dark electro pop. That’s why they use the Scandinavian-sounding band name, which means ‘valuable’ in Swedish. They are inspired by northern acts such as Björk, AURORA and Tove Lo.
