An old hand and a new artist: Meet Ralf & Klinkt Goed. Experienced musician Ralf Mastwijk conveys deep emotions with love and attention to detail in his songs. He sings from the heart in recognizable images and pointed phrases. Klinkt Goed is Ralf’s solo project. He draws inspiration for his direct lyrics from his life experience and philosophy. What you hear is how it is. According to Mastwijk, that is. He sings his lyrics just as directly. Preferably with backing vocals, though. Sources of inspiration for the arrangements are 1980s Dutch pop, indie pop, and New Wave. Klinkt Goed’s music consists of a combination of acoustic and electronic elements.
