Paardcafé: Kiwi Club

Kiwi Club is a melodic techno duo from Leiden: a combination of live guitar with (chilled) techno beats and loops. Since 2019, Giel Borsboom (beats) and Chris Tieken (guitar) have been performing energetic live sets that the audience loves to lose themselves in.

In 2022, they were selected for the Popronde and toured the Netherlands, which led to bookings at electronic events and festivals throughout the country. Their influences include Joachim Pastor, NTO, Darkside, and Monolink.

Daise makes dark electropop that captures the tension between what is expected and what feels real. His debut song ‘Undercover’ is about feeling stuck in obligations and fleeting highs that only leave emptiness behind, and tells a story about nights out, fleeting encounters, and the moment you stop pretending.
