Paardcafé: Daniel Nolet

Daniel Nolet spent much of his youth on soccer fields. He played at Sparta and enjoyed interest from Ajax and Feyenoord. A knee injury put an end to this dream. The sports outfit was exchanged for his sister’s guitar: Daniel began writing songs and hasn’t stopped since.
Nolet alternates danceable guitar pop with honest songs that betray a calm personality. Balancing between the Arctic Monkeys and James Bay, Nolet touches on topics that matter with witty lyrics.

Julia is a 25-year-old singer-songwriter from Rotterdam. Her passion for music began in her youth, inspired by her grandmother Adriana and artists such as Joni Mitchell, The Eagles and BLØF. In 2022, she graduated as a vocalist from the conservatory in Rotterdam, where she developed her unique sound. Her music combines indie, pop, soul and acoustic elements, characterized by melancholic tones and enchanting harmonies.
