3SOME blends keyboards, bass, and drums into a stream of rhythm and color.
The music moves freely between jazz, funk, and urban, with moments of intensity that are as brutal as they are playful. Live, an energy is created in which every turn and every silence evokes something new.
The Rotterdam trio consists of Davide Rasetti (keyboards & saxophone), Daan Arets (drums), and Gianluca Calò (bass & synth bass). They met in the summer of 2022 in Rotterdam’s vibrant music scene and quickly realized they had a musical connection. A few months later, they recorded their first album TO GO UP under the name Davide Rasetti TRIO, released during a tour in Italy in September 2023.
During that tour, they embarked on a two-week artistic residency that changed the course of the band. The intensive collaboration led to a whole new repertoire and laid the foundation for the trio’s unique identity. This transformation inspired a bold move: changing the name to 3SOME, a reference to the fusion of three musicians into one sound organism.
