Myles Sanko is a British soul and jazz singer, songwriter, composer and producer. His roots are in Ghana and France, and his music reflects a mix of diverse cultural influences and resilience. Sanko’s music is known for his thought-provoking lyrics and rich musical textures, which have evolved from his early days into themes of love, hope and politics. He has collaborated with well-known artists such as Gregory Porter and Martha High, further broadening his musical horizons. On 13 November, he will be at our Small Hall!

His journey began with singing and rapping in nightclubs in his hometown of Cambridge, and later as a street musician. In 2013, he independently released his debut album Born In Black & White on his own label 213 Music, attracting the attention of international record labels. Since then, he has released several acclaimed albums with a distinctive blend of soul and jazz.

Aiming to have released 15 albums by the time he is 60, Sanko’s dedication to his craft is clear. His music aims to uplift and inspire, and resonates with a global audience.
