LUBIANA

Lubiana is a Belgian-Cameroonian singer, kora player and composer who connects African traditions with pop, soul and classical influences. On her new album Terre Rouge, ancestral kora sounds merge with warm live arrangements. The album was created during travels through Africa and Europe and forms an intimate exploration of identity, heritage and connection. Themes such as feminism, nature and her roots are central to the work. Lubiana draws inspiration from artists like Toumani Diabaté, Lauryn Hill and Lianne La Havas. Terre Rouge is a layered and spiritual album that brings cultures and emotions together.
