With a strong focus on visibility and inclusion, Faluma especially aims to break the silence around queerness within the black community by creating space for joy and unpolished self-expression. This collaboration reflects our commitment to listening to your feedback on diversifying our programming – we believe it is important to make Kaleidoscope as inclusive, vibrant and welcoming as possible. We always raise the bar to bring parties that not only celebrate queerness, but also promote our values of representation and genuine community building.

Kaleidoscope is back! For this edition, we are collaborating with Faluma: a platform that connects people from the Afro-diaspora in the Netherlands through community, creativity and culture. Founded by Demi Vreden (@demijaela) out of a personal need to belong, Faluma has grown into a place that elevates and focuses black voices.
What to expect. Fun acts, fine music, connection, crazy and sexy moments, and above all, a safe place where you can be completely yourself. We have a strict “Good Vibes Only” policy. Creating a safe(r) space for the queer community to celebrate ourselves and each other is our top priority. So fill your heart with love and remember: consent is hot!
Inclusivity & Accessibility
PAARD and Kaleidoscope Events make every effort to make our events as inclusive as possible.
There is an Atmosphere Management Team walking around to make you feel welcome and at home. Do you experience or see something unpleasant? Feel free to shoot us. Even if you just feel alone.
Toilets are gender-neutral.
The Small Hall is wheelchair accessible via a lift (ask a PAARD staff member for help).
The lockers, cloakroom and most facilities are wheelchair accessible.
The bar downstairs is on a small elevation – our volunteers and bar staff are ready to help you where needed.
