The band continues to grow and evolve, capturing new listeners and admirers time and again with timeless and moving music. Over the years, the style has evolved into a broader and sometimes heavier sound, but never losing sight of what makes it I Am Oak: subdued folk with the guitar at its centre.
After three years, I am Oak now comes out with new music and a new album: Time Drifts released in April 2025. A reflection on getting older, watching time pass, and looking back on life so far are themes that play the leading role in the new intimate, poetic songs written by Thijs Kuijken.
