All of the songs carry the Stainthorpe / Tombs stamp, the latter contributing on the vocal front throughout, and together they form the beating heart of a five-piece outfit fleshed out by Sam Hill (rhythm guitar), Jonny Hunter (lead guitar) and Dan Brown (drums).
The bands first studio album, ‘Let It Fail’ is a memorable, if bitter taste of what’s to follow – big riffs, big choruses, big grooves, a nod to electronic and industrial music, plus a sing / scream balance tailored to the needs of the songs. Heather Thompson (Tapping The Vein) provides haunting additional vocals, having previously guested with Paradise Lost.
Support: The Old Dead Tree
The Old Dead Tree will be opening for High Parasite this night. As leaders of the French prog metal scene, the band has been making a name for itself for 20 years. The band has created a unique universe that explores the edges of extreme music, combining dark rock with the versatile vocals of frontman Manuel Munoz.
