This is the early performance, the late performance is sold out
Girls in Woods dives deep into the manosphere, the online culture where extreme forms of masculinity are promoted. From aesthetic morning routines to Andrew Tate, tradwives, and pick-up artists. Nine performers invite you into the small hall of PAARD. With genuine curiosity, they explore live on stage and through a female lens the allure of this world. They also draw connections to their own experiences with masculinity.
What does the manosphere offer? Freedom, control, and stability in uncertain times? What happens as they immerse themselves deeper into this world? How far can they empathize? What is the impact on their bodies and the risks involved?
Project Manosphere is both a deep dive and an open invitation: Can we imagine new forms of masculinity, free from fear or control?

“When Girls in Woods asked me to take part in Project Manosphere, I immediately said yes!
Over the past two years, I’ve immersed myself in the world of the manosphere a fascinating (online) realm that I actually view with a great deal of compassion. I interpret its rigid ideology as a cry for support in a time when the role of men is shifting. It’s understandable, and at the same time painful, because that rigid ideology increasingly leads to violence against women, people of color, and queer communities. The very fact that I feel compassion for it is, in itself, a fascinating thing.
For Project Manosphere, I’m working with a cast that primarily offers a female perspective an exciting and challenging viewpoint!”
