Diana Dhzabbar
Diana Dzhabbar is an Afro-Ukrainian saxophone player/artist based in Amsterdam. She plays with bands and artists such as Bnnyhunna, Brintex Collective, IGOR etc. She also contributed to the album of an American artist Jose James. Now Diana is working on her first EP which she’s going to release in September this year. Her sound draws from jazz, neo-soul, and electronic influences, shaped by both her Afro-diasporic roots and Eastern European heritage. The project marks an exciting new chapter in her artistic journey, showcasing her personal sound and vision as both a performer and composer. Audiences can expect an intimate yet powerful musical experience that reflects her unique background and everevolving artistry.
After short introduction sets from the artist, there’s plenty room to jam. We’re creating a new space where musicians and music lovers can come together, connect, and build relationships through their shared love of musical exploration.

About our partners:

OSHI is a platform for talent development that creates fertile ground for driven musicians and aspiring creative professionals through collaboration and connection. Our vision is to become a leading entity within the Dutch music industry for R&B, soul, jazz, hip-hop, and related genres. OSHI was founded in collaboration with a strong network of partners, including House of Knowledge, Orisun Studio, PAARD, Super-Sonic Jazz, Paradiso, BIRD, Patronaat, and INI Movement.

The Royal Conservatoire in The Hague, founded in 1826, is the oldest conservatoire in the Netherlands. It combines tradition with innovation and is renowned for its excellent jazz department, providing an inspiring environment for musicians and dancers from all over the world.

Community Connector: Babin

Born in Nepal and raised in Barcelona, Babin Olano moved to the Netherlands five years ago to study jazz guitar at the Royal Conservatoire. Since then, he has performed at festivals such as North Sea Jazz Festival, Sniester Festival, Prinsjesnacht, Scheveningen Surf Festival, and Uit Festival, and played in venues like Melkweg, BIRD, PAARD Café, Café September, and Zwarte Ruiter. These experiences have given him valuable insights into how strong and sustainable live music communities are built.

What excites him about Dune Sessions is its potential to become a true meeting place for emerging voices, collaboration, and experimentation. While he has experienced vibrant jam sessions in cities like Amsterdam (Supersonic Jam) and Barcelona (Marula Café jams), I see a clear opportunity to further develop that same energy in a unique way in The Hague.
