DOLLE MINA FEST

Sunday 8 March 2026

SMASH THE PATRIARCHY! THE DOLLE MINAS ARE COMING TO PAARD.

On Sunday, March 8 (International Women’s Day), Dolle Mina Fest takes over PAARD. A full day and night of heavy music, sharp conversations, and radical energy. This is not a symbolic celebration. This is a call to action.

As part of PAARD’s social impact program PUSH, Dolle Mina Fest brings together the rebellious spirit of Dolle Mina The Hague with the voices of today. Expect a powerful line-up, urgent talks on intersectional feminism and emancipation, and an atmosphere that is as celebratory as it is activist. Between shows, artists and audiences are invited to engage in conversations about representation, gender, and inclusivity. The first names are announced: none other than Dutch pop icon Merol, queer duo LIONSTORM, and The Hague punk band Dolly Min will take the stage.

  • Merol

    Dutch pop icon

MEROL broke through in 2018 with Lekker Met De Meiden and hasn’t stopped since. With her bold Dutch-language electropop, she sings about sex, feminism, and the spirit of the times, wrapped in sharp, catchy synthpop. Her energetic live shows and hits like Hou Je Bek and Bef Me have made her a regular feature at the biggest festivals.

  • LIONSTORM

    queer music duo

LIONSTORM is the first explicitly queer music duo from the Netherlands, consisting of Ski and Stars. With their aggressive, clownish style, they move between horrorcore, reggaeton, and industrial metal. Their work revolves around queerness, female sexuality, and breaking taboos. Live, LIONSTORM is unpredictable and intense: from twerk to moshpit in a single set. Their irresistible energy has taken them across Japan and Europe and to festivals like Rolling Loud Netherlands, BRDCST (BE), and Festival de la Cité (CH). The norm is always up for debate. You hear it, see it, and feel it.

  • DOLLY MIN

    Punk from The Hague

Dolly Min is a punk band from that beautiful city behind the dunes. Their sound is raw, energetic, and unfiltered, with catchy choruses and a clear message. With the EP Girls Bite Back pt. 1, the band instantly made a mark, earning the Popprijs for “Best The Hague Release of 2025.” Live, Dolly Min convinces with a relentless energy that hits just as hard on large stages — previously proven as support for Pussy Riot in PAARD’s Grolsch Hall. Independent, from The Hague, and ready to take it further.

There’s also plenty to experience outside the venue. In the foyer, you can dive into a mini-exhibit on the history of Dolle Mina, meet inspiring initiatives, and create space for connection.

Dolle Mina Fest is open, inclusive, and for everyone who wants to listen, learn, and move along. More information about side programming will follow, so keep an eye on this page.
