DANIËL NOLET

EP RELEASE

Wednesday 15 April 2026

From mellow to up-tempo, singer-songwriter Daniël Nolet combines his talent for strong melodies with surprising lyrical perspectives. He does not shy away from heavy subjects; instead, he wraps themes such as loss, friendship and, of course, love into songs that keep dancing around in your head long after listening. Things are often not what they seem: the rousing, up-tempo Hannah, for example, is about the suicide of a friend, while the more mellow You explores broken love through the lens of a painting. With his songs, Nolet draws on the subjects that occupy him, often told from a different perspective. Expect an energetic live show from his seven-piece band, including a horn section.

Nolet’s first melodies emerged on the football field, but he now knows how to reach a wide audience with strong hooks and danceable guitar pop. “As a goalkeeper you often stand alone for very long periods of time. When the ball is on the opponent’s half, you’re basically doing nothing. What I started doing was singing, humming or coming up with lines.” He traded a promising future as a goalkeeper at Sparta Rotterdam for his true calling: music.

Julia Tan is a Dutch pop artist who is quickly becoming a name to watch. With her debut single “Follow+Stay” (November 2023), she immediately introduced her signature sound: emotional, melodic, and honest. In 2024, she broke through to a wider audience during the Popronde and opened for British band Tors on their European tour. She also supported Davina Michelle at venues including Paradiso, De Oosterpoort, and Ahoy Rotterdam, where she impressed with her powerful live performance.

The Hague-based singer-songwriter Miles O’Brien has quickly established himself with his signature sound: ‘Scheveningse Pop.’ Inspired by artists like Dominic Fike, S10, and Ronnie Flex, he combines indie rock, hip-hop, and catchy songwriting into a unique blend of idiosyncratic vibes and relatable lyrics exploring themes of adulthood, love, and ambition.
