ACROSS THE HEATH

Festival and album release from Heath

Saturday 6 December 2025

For a while now you can’t ignore it: the young band Heath from The Hague has established itself as THE new psychedelic rock sensation of the country. With a lyrically received debut album, 2 shows at Roadburn, 25 pop round shows, 5 huge supports for DeWolff, a real club tour of their own last April and a whole slew of uber-hip summer festivals, the band has put themselves well on the map this past year!

And if that is not enough, on December 6 the gentlemen will release a NEW ALBUM! And to celebrate this joyous fact even better, they have decided to create their own festival: ACROSS THE HEATH! An evening with Heath’s favorite bands & friends and the creme de la creme of what is currently available in this field!

  • Heath

Based in The Hague, Heath is a newcomer five-piece that brings a refreshing and exuberant spirit to progressive and psychedelic rock. Drawing inspiration from classic influences, their sound combines instrumental breadth, organic vocal melodies, odd time signatures, blazing harmonica, and driving guitars into an enchanting and dynamic experience. Their critically acclaimed debut album, Isaak’s Marble, marks the start of a long journey, inviting listeners into a world where anything is possible.

Known for their energetic live shows, Heath has already built significant momentum in the Netherlands, performing at renowned events like Roadburn Festival, supporting acts such as King Gizzard and DeWolff,  becoming one of the most booked bands of the traveling Popronde festival and playing at the renowned showcase festival ESNS 2025. Seamlessly blending hypnotic, eclectic songs with liberating atmospheres, Heath vividly embodies underground futurism while carving out their own vital, modern identity.

  • Mojo & the Kitchen Brothers

Mojo & the Kitchen Brothers is a vibrant Belgian ensemble that conjures the spirit of the early ’70s. Their psychedelia-soaked blend of heavy prog rock evokes associations with the likes of Black Sabbath, Wishbone Ash, and Pink Floyd. But they are more than a nostalgic trip: deeply rooted alongside their fellow contemporary psych rockers, they take the listener on a journey through the limbo between past and present.

  • Iron Jinn

Iron Jinn consists of Oeds Beydals (The Devil’s Blood / Molassess / Death Alley), Wout Kemkens (Shaking Godspeed / De Niemanders), Bob Hogenelst (Birth of Joy / Molassess), Jarno van Es, and Gerben Bielderman (Pauw). Their debut full-length, released on Stickman Records (April 21, 2023), is a wild album that follows the logic of a dream—none. The release show took place at a packed Green Room during Roadburn Festival 2023, followed by performances at Desertfest London and Sonic Whip, and a run of club shows. Early reviews have poured in, and Rockhard Magazine, OOR Magazine, Visions Magazine, Aardschok Magazine, and others unanimously praise the ambitious debut. Distorted Sound even hailed them as “masters of strange and ethereal psychedelia.”

  • Yan Lâle

The Amsterdam-based five-piece project Yan L’le began as a study project, but has since grown into something much more. Following the release of their debut single Lonely Land in October 2023 and their second single A Touch of Darkness in December, Yan L’le has already demonstrated the breadth of their musical range. After reaching the finals of the Amsterdam Popprijs, the band is now captivating even more venues with their immersive performances. Their music blends sounds from different worlds, with English and Turkish vocals seamlessly intertwined—psychedelic soundscapes infused with cultural influences. Live, you can expect a magical journey to other realms.

With the release of their debut EP Otherlands, Yan L’le invites you to explore their universe and discover something refreshingly new. As they tour the Popronde 2024 and gear up for an appearance at ESNS 2025, a festival-filled summer might just be on the horizon… something X is coming soon.

  • Mahala

Combining their Persian, Dutch and Romanian roots, connected by their love of SWANA and Balkan music, the members of Mahala (neighborhood) invite you to become part of their own Mahala. Blending ethno-inspired melodies and rhythms with elements of Western fusion pop, they create what could best be described as Eastern soothing groove. With a mix of vocals in both Persian and English alongside viola, caval, guitars, bass and drums, Mahala crafts music that inspires both movement and reflection.
