With honest lyrics and a touch of quirkiness, Laura Sjin brings you Dutch-language indie pop that touches your heart. Her sound? Difficult to capture in one word—except perhaps “Laura-esque.” From groovy indie pop to melancholic disco: Laura does it all.
On her latest EP, zullen we zo zijn? (February 2025), she strikes out in a fresh direction, produced in collaboration with Wannes Salomé (Klangstof, among others). The release was celebrated with a show at EKKO, where 3voor12 Utrecht wrote: “Laura Sjin is beginning to emerge as a major player in the Dutch music scene.” The EP was also named release of the month in the 3voor12 Utrecht podcast.
