LAKSHMI her pop noir is a mix between poetic lyrics, dark violins and synths

The music of LAKSHMI is a surprising combination between softly whispered pop songs and brutal electronic soundscapes with squeeling guitars. Lakshmi names her own music Pop Noir.  As an artist LAKSHMI is infamous for the excentric visual creation of her own world and how she translates this to her music. She plays her show in PAARD on Thursday the 17th of March.

Despite of her career just taking off – LAKSHMI her debut was in 2107 with her selftitled album) – she already did two theatre tours. Currently she is touring all over the country in several theatres with her show Huidhonger.

This year she got  familiair with the big audience because of her participation in the Dutch TV-show Wie is de Mol? and released her new single EMPTY. For the video of this song she collaborated with top designer Ronald van der Kemp. The single was a success and even got played in the CBS series Charmed. Besides this, Lakshmi created her own fanplatform Only for the Wicked and released the song Grow with you, which she wrote with Kensington singer Eloi Youssef.
