Slagwerk Den Haag
Founded in 1977, Slagwerk Den Haag is a multi-disciplinary collective that has already attracted worldwide attention with their free interpretation. Whether on ‘traditional’ percussion instruments or on horse jaws and glass instruments. In any case, the collective makes it a performance to kick back style.
Jameszoo
In the past Mitchel van Dinther (as Jameszoo is actually called) was a gifted taekwondoka. When an injury threw a spanner in the works, the athlete changed missions and the dojo was traded in for the turntable. When the DJ was allowed to study at the Red Bull Music Academy in New York in 2013, he met the people behind Flying Lotus, including bassist Thundercat, and Jameszoo developed into one of the most exciting new jazz artists of the moment. With his naive computer jazz, the musician knows how to renew himself time and again.Residentie Orkest –
Strijkkwartet
Residentie Orkest and Slagwerk The Hague are working together – as The Hague’s brothers-in-crime for their collaboration: Inviting the Producer. The Residentie Orkest is a multidisciplinary and exciting guest to have at PAARD. For this concert, RO’s string quartet will accompany Slagwerk The Hague and Jameszoo for a harmonies collaboration.
