The new songs will be different from the mix of indie, folk and americana with which the duo managed to acquire its own position in the Dutch music landscape. Since 2010, Tangarine has released five albums and in particular the collaboration with Calexico received rave reviews and gave the band a full agenda and a loyal fan base. In 2014, Tangarine gained national fame as the house band of De Wereld Draait Door and conquered the hearts of many TV viewers. The brothers traveled to almost every pop venue in the Netherlands and played at festivals such as Lowlands, Haldern Pop and Into The Great Wide Open. In the years that followed, Tangarine focused on concerts in the theater.

As identical identical twins, Tangarine is a unique and welcome guest on the stages. For Arnout and Sander Brinks, the Corona pandemic was an opportunity to take a new path and, in particular, to explore their talents as songwriters. Together with producer Gordon Groothedde, the twin brothers recorded a number of strong pop songs, including ‘Shadows’, and developed a new sound and show. With strong choruses, atmospheric arrangements and their unique voice, Tangarine shows the potential of international hit success.
