After winning the ‘Grote Prijs van Rotterdam’ in 2017 the band started writing their first album. At the moment of writing, the band – consisting of Geert van Emden, Jesse den Dulk, Pascal Konings and Tijs Kulker – is about to venture into new territory with their upcoming first full-length release. From a wealth of musical influences, ranging from Bon Iver, Radiohead to The War On Drugs, St. Solaire distilled their distinct sound: merging the intimate and personal within a warm blanket of alternative rock and sizzling indie pop.
Having proven themselves on stages like TivoliVredenburg, Doornroosje and Paradiso or at music festivals like Where the Wild things Are and Motel Mozaïque; St. Solaire has taken root as a skillful and heartwarming live band. Primed at presenting their upcoming/latest works in front of an eager audience and live up to the insignia of being one of The Nederlands’ big musical promises, they are currently ready and set to welcome today’s music devotees into their realm of graceful, melodious sound.
