HANNAH MAE [publiek]

Sunday 4 July 2021 2021

After the success of Taylor Swifts last record; Folklore, it is made clear again that countrypop returned to the mainstream for real. It is okay again to drool over beautiful songs written by mysterious boys and girls. For example the songs by Hannah Mae. The young singer from Emmen who is taken care of by Dutch countrystar Ilse DeLange, writes songs like the ones of Kacey Musgraves and the already mentioned Taylor Swift. On 4 July Hannah Mae plays the Grote Zaal, as a part of the Little Things Tour.

Hannah Mae is signed on ‘Sparks Records’ the company founded by Ilse DeLange, who gave a lot of opportunities to the young singer. A lot of televisionshows were visited and Hannah Mae played before the King and Queen as well. On a trip to Nashville, the songwriter from Drenthe wrote the song ‘Little Things’, with some help from Matthew and Rob Crosby (known for their work for The Common Linnets). The song is inspired by the thought that the little things in live make everything better, and that is a great thought.
