Pieter de Graaf built his career as a pianist and composer by being a part of the Kyteman Orchestra and with ihs own jazz-ensemble ‘Pieter De Graaf Trio’. But now the time has come to start his solo-project. Inspired by Miles Davis, Keith Jarrett and Chopin, the man creates inspiring, neoclassical pianomusic. Comparing him with Nils Fraham and Einaudi is obvious, but with his own pop and jazz-influences De Graaf knows perfectly how to create his own sound.

Composer and multi-instrumentalist Carlos Cipa will soon release his new album “Retronyms”. The classical pianist expanded his horizon by learning how to play the drums in his teenage years. With these skills and differnt musical styles he traveled all over the world with like-minded artists like Hauschka and Ólafur Arnalds. Though old love doesn’t go away and he returned to playing piano and travels throughout Europa playing shows, playing in Paard on September 29th.
