The French collective Nouvelle Vague became successful over ten years ago with a concept that worked wonders: new wave songs from the 80s wrapped in a bossa nova sound. Songs of Joy Division, Depeche Mode , The Sisters of Mercy and Dead Kennedy’s in a way you’ve never heard before: with a Brazillian rythm, with sensual chanteuse and a very talented band. Even skeptics that visited shows admitted that Bizarre Love Triangle is the perfect sound to lounge to. You can see it in real life yourself on October 26th in PAARD.
