Striking Matches bring an irresistible combination of crisp and sometimes fisted blues and roots riffs, and pop melodies that will keep you on for a long time. Because of their music, there is a clear line of blues and country traditions with a modern twist, in which you hear the wings of the famous Nashville sound.

Tenille Townes knew very early what her passion was: at her fourteenth she got her first guitar from her grandparents and at her seventeenth she was already nominated for ‘Canadian Country Music Award’ for singer of the year. From there, it went fast, and at nineteenth she moved to Nashville to work on her career. There she released her acclaimed Debut album ‘Living Room Worktapes‘.  Earlier this year she released her third song ‘I Kept The Roses’ from her second album produced by Jay Joyce.

“ Striking Matches have a knack for constructing lovely songs. “
