“When I come to Holland to sing my songs, the first word on my lips is GEZELLIG”, according to Bloom.

On October 28th, another edition of Paard op Hol will take place, this time with Irish singer-songwriter Barry Moore a.ka. Luka Bloom. With his acoustic guitar and recognizable voice, the 62-year old Irish man takes his crowd on a musical journey over and over again. You would almost think there are multiple guitarists on stage. He used to perform at a lot big rock festivals, nowadays he prefers the more intimate shows.

It will not be the first visit to The Netherlands for Bloom, he is visiting the Dutch stages for the past 25 years. The singer has a lot of good memories to our country. He made his entrance at the Pinkpop stage by bike in 1999 and a packed hall sang ‘Fertile Rock’ from the top of their lungs for the first time. In October he comes in occasion of his new album ‘Refuge’. Bloom will perform old and new songs at a very special location: the Nieuwe Kerk (‘New Church’) in The Hague.
