CRAIG TABORN QUARTET @ Koorenhuis

At May10th the one and only jazz pianist and composer Craig Taborn plays at Koorenhuis with his dynamic, animated and spooky music. The acoustic and electric sounds are balancing between groove and melody. The reputed ECM label has released the first album of the musician, titled: Daylight Ghosts. You can hear influences of jazz in his intriguing play, as well as nowadays, classic and electric music.

Taborn doesn’t always perform alone. His band does include some ground-breaking musicians of the American avant-garde: saxophonist/clarinettist Chris Speed, bass player Chris Lightcap and drummer Dave King (The Bad Plus).

21:45 uur: After-party (foyer)

Dinner & Jazz

From 7:00 PM a special jazz meal will be served in the foyer. You can buy a combi ticket for the meal via the ticket button. The ticket is your entry ticket for  the rest of the program. You can choose between meat of vegetarian. One drink is also included.
